Welcome to the Chai'etra system. I am the Lethetic Cognitive Construct called Mjolnir. Call me an AI, but that is not quite true. I and my fellow Construct (Overlord, a pretentious bastard with No Sense Of Humour) are here on a mission. You are our muscle. This vessel was discovered by one of our Deep Probes as we approached this system. The Pfhor must have spotted it too, once it drifted past the outer system sensor buoys. I estimate that this ship must have been abandoned several centuries ago, based on readings of the meteorite damage and radiation lingering on the hull. The Pfhor have sent a boarding party aboard the vessel, and do not appear to have spotted our ships, in part due to the excellent stealth systems we have.
Your task here is to stop the Pfhor from reactivating the drives on this ship. They have established power to the shields, and are attempting to start the engines. You will stop them. Our mission here will be much simpler if the Pfhor do not have a reason to contact the inner worlds of the empire. Make your way to the bridge of the ship, and find the terminal there. Shut down the shields on the way, and I will teleport you off, and then destroy this ship with particle beams. You will not have to kill all of the aliens, but I know what a bloodthirsty fiend you are, so I don't expect survivors. We do not have a lot of time, so you had better get moving. I will fill you in on our mission here a little later on.
We are on the outskirts of the Pfhor empire. This world is sparsely populated, but is important for reasons that will soon become apparent. Never mind. Find the shield switch. There is not too much time left, and I am almost out of transport range.
