Alert---Foreign subject in lower docking bay -----<reroute signal>-+ We've reached some form of a stalemate. We have already taken the crystal from NORAD to the main colony complex. You came down here for nothing. I wanted to order my terrorists to slaughter you, but it looks as though they've all left for various ports in our star system. You're down there all alone and there's no way Fenrir can teleport you out. So. I can't kill you and you can't get out. Either way, you lose. But I'm willing to make you an offer. I don't want anyone to know we were at NORAD. If some Spartan scientists ever scanned that ocean facility, they'd find out how we're going to activate the Khumatzof.

Alert---Foreign subject in lower docking bay -----<reroute signal>-+ I will teleport you out if you will destroy the facility. We can't have the Spartans knowing about our little secret, now can we? The Crimson Lamb has come too far to be stopped now. You will go outside NORAD and activate the manual override on the west airlock. This will flood the complex and eliminate all traces of our arrival. Then return to this terminal and I will bring you to the surface. There, I will determine your fate. End of Line--_________

Transmission from Reuben_---- It's so hard to issue a death order on one of your best friends. I never wanted it to be this way. You know that. You knew that when you turned on me back at the Vega System and left me out to dry. You knew there was no coming back. It could only end in confrontation between us- with only one victor. You have pleaded Uncle and Mercy, but I will show none. You have outlived your usefullness.

Transmission from Reuben_---- I trained you to be a killer. To be the strongest and the fastest. You know everything because of me. And then you turned on me. It could have all been ours! The other ten- the founding ten- they were finished when that blast went off. They never stood a chance. You set it up perfectly. But why wouldn't you detonate it? You leave things to chance and force others to complete your actions. Why?

Transmission from Reuben_---- The Vega Massacre, as it's come to be called. How could two men orchestrate such a masterpiece? The papers and the Spartan Press knew nothing of the true motives behind us. If only they knew that the blast was not targeted at the populous of Vega 5- but rather at the ten founders themselves. You and I, we worked together beautifully. You planted the bomb and I gathered the shuttles. We were going to simply float away and you would detonate it, leaving the Crimson Lamb under our control. We could have ruled the galaxy, side by side.

Transmission from Reuben_---- But no. Why did you do it? I trained you to leave mercy behind- to kill without thinking, without hesitation. But that night- the night of the blast, what snapped inside of you? What happened to the Joseph I knew, and what made him become the spineless courier that calls himself Jack for the sake of anonymity? Why wouldn't you detonate the blast? You leave the dirty work to me, and then stab me in the back. You left me. You left me all alone, with no one but our stupid followers who worship the ground we walk on and will kill at our word. You have eluded me for years, ever since the time when our ships went into our separate Alderson Routes after the blast.

Transmission from Reuben_---- Changing the name to Jack was a nice flourish, by the way. After all, who would suspect? Courier 11, Jack, is actually the missing twelfth founder of the Crimson Lamb, assumed to have died in the Vega Massacre? I am the only known survivor- why would they even think about you? But now I know. And soon, everyone will know. Don't be a fool- I'm not going to kill you, Joseph. But you'll wish you were dead when the Marines find out who you really are. I'm transporting you to surface, all right, but this time, you had better just stay low and not get in my way. Next time, I won't hesitate to vaporize you. Consider this your grace period, and a favor from an old friend.
