0: Training Mission

Welcome one and all to the Training Mission for Dark Rose. To get you ready for the real game, we're gonna run you through some practice drills. Teamwork and communication will be key here, as your are confronted with obstacles that you both need to help each other pass in order to reach your goal. We wish you good luck, and most of all, Have Fun!! Different obstacle information will be presented to the both of you, because your point of view will be different. Info on what your partner needs from you is in yellow. What you need to do will be in blue. •••Task One••• This will just be an obstacle for your partner. Just watch him as he tries to hit the button outside with a grenade. When he does, you need to head through the slowly opening door to your current left. Then, enter the next terminal in that small room. •••End Task One

Pick up the assult rifle behind you, and see if you can hit the button in the tower outside. When you do, it will open a door where your partner is and will let him move to the next stage of play. When you have finnished, move yourself on to the next section through the door on your current right. •••End Task One

Just go through the teleport on your left. You'll get to a room with a gun and lots of buttons. Check the terminal there on your partner's progress, and await instruction.

•••Task Two••• I hope you haven't been doing any grenading yet. If you have, you've discovered that 3 of 4 of these floating buttons will close up all 4 for 2 minutes. The object here, is to relay info from your partner on which button to press. There's a riddle on his/her end, so you have to help him/her with it. Keep communicating, and when you figure it out, you'll be elevated to new heights!! •••End Task Two

•••Task Three••• Looks like you made it this far. This room is very special. Our tribute to the climax in the movie, "Raders of the Lost Ark." There are 25 elevated platforms here. Step on the wrong one, and poof! You're sunk for 15 seconds. Relay info from your teammate and complete the path. •••End Task Three••• •••Task Four••• Once you make it through, a door will block you. Tell your partner to hit the button on the right to open it. •••End Task Four••• •••Task Five••• Once you're there, STAY PUT! Your partner will give you more info on crossing the river. Good luck! •••End Task Five

•••Task Two••• Tell your teammate to get in the hole, face dead straight, and move to the far left against the vertically sliding wall, and back up until you ALMOST step back up but stay in the hole. They'll know what that means. Here's a riddle for you two - What looks like flames comes up from the one that will move you on. •••End Task Two••• •••Task Three••• Don't step on the wrong one. Tell them this - Start ON far left, up, right, right, up, right, up, up, left, left, left. •••End Task Three••• •••Task Four••• Once you get the word, hit the button on the wall above you that your partner says. •••End Task Four••• •••Task Five••• Have you ever told someone how and when to cross a river? Here's your chance. Sync your actions to your partner's, and hit the button on your left and at the same time, tell your partner to move quickly. You only have 2 seconds to get him/her accross. If they fall in, tell them to enjoy the ride. Don't worry about the button, unlike many platforms on this level, it can be hit more than once. •••End Task Five••• •••Task Six••• Just hold on, You two will be together shortly. •••End Task Six
