Hello, my predictable adversary! This will be the last you'll likely ever hear of me. I'll be going where relativity won't permit our meeting again. The nice little tear in spacetime that I will have passed through by now, in my fancy new starship, cannot be exactly duplicated -- even by me. I don't age, so I will have all the time in the Universe to return at sublight speed. All the time I'll have on my "hands" will come in handy for plotting my revenge. The next time I encounter humankind, it will be when I am ready. I really do hope that your new alien friends are successful in liberating Earth. I would so hate to return someday to find humans extinct. I don't think the bugs will be quite as fun to enslave.
With your aid, we have liberated all of Earth and most of Sol system. The last Chtakt ships are being destroyed as we speak. We have tracked down and destroyed every wormhole, including (just now) the one immediately behind you. Your people have been understandably frightened, but according to the reports we are receiving from the Watchers, they are beginning the process of working out their differences. It seems that the revelation of other life in the Universe has made human differences less bothersome. We are encouraged by this development. Perhaps your kind will be ready to be part of the culture of the Universe sooner than we had anticipated. Now we have a request for you. We would like you to travel with us to our home system. As we have told you, your people are entwined in a temporal cusp affecting the fates of many other cultures in the Universe. We wish to have your help in understanding your people so we may better predict probability outcomes of the cusp. It is important that the cusp not be swayed in certain directions. If you wish to undertake this journey with us, you will become the first ambassador of the human race to the people of the Universe. You will increase the chances of the cusp branching in a way that will benefit humankind. Unfortunately, you will lose anyone dear to you. Your body cannot withstand our kind of travel over long distances. You will make the journey asleep at sublight speeds. Even without relativistic effects, every human currently alive will be dead before you could possibly return. If you do not wish to come with us, we will harbor you no ill will. You may live out your life here on Earth as you please. If you choose to come with us, simply step on the pad behind you. (Yes, the wormhole is destroyed, but we know the pad's location, so it serves as a helpful reference point. We have no need for the primitive wormholes of Chtakt technology.) We will take it from there.
