Sacrilegious individuals could be hiding blasphemy anywhere. It is up to every citizen to do their part to help root out the corruption. There are many signs of hidden blasphemy, and it is your duty to keep a sharp eye out. Signs of illegal activity could include: -Suspicious markings or odd placement of seemingly innocuous objects. -People suddenly coming out of dead ends or from unusual directions. -Unexplained noises. -A sense of unease. -Suspicious behavior. -An unusual focus on exercise. It is not your duty to investigate these, lest their crimes taint you. Instead you must report suspicion to authorities. Note that false reports are a punishable offense.
This is an Emergency announcement to all Citizens. Attempts to halt or delay the Night have failed. Those of Class B citizenship or higher with functional vehicles and sufficient fuel have their travel restrictions lifted. Lower classifications are to report to the relevant authority for further instructions. If there is no authority where you are and the Night is encroaching, you are expected to use any and all available, and appropriate, means to end your life. Failure to do so will result in the harshest punishment available.
The cave collapsed and now I'm trapped in the dark. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I knew I shouldn't have come back in here for my stash, but what kind of idiot would I have to be to leave so much good ammo and weaponry behind as things are going to shit? The only good thing about this would be if the Night couldn't find me here, but I don't think that's happening. I could try and tunnel out right now but there's no way in hell I'm pulling that off before it passes over here. I'll just have to hope it doesn't find me and dig myself out of here when it's gone. If I start hearing it though, I'll have to use the napalm I've got stashed here.
The girl has been nailed to the wall in what is clearly some sort of bizarre ritual. What could that strange creature have been planning to do with her? Whatever plan it had, it's not getting a chance to do it. The girl raises her head, but the distant look in her eyes suggests that she's not all here. There's an attempt at some noise, but a closer look shows her throat has been torn out. Her limbs have likewise been rendered useless, which is unsurprising considering the situation she's in. The damage done to her has been executed very deliberately, as if a misplaced bone breakage could spoil the ritual. Still, she can be repaired, and so it's time to carefully remove the nails. It'll be necessary to carry her, but this burden would be a trivial task for any doll.
Fortunately, Lupa is waiting outside. She lowers the large rifle she had pointed at the cave entrance. "Thank goodness. I was beginning to think you weren't going to come back out." It takes her only a moment to notice the burden and come rushing over to help. She already got the rest of whoever and whatever could be salvaged into the vehicle. It was an awkward ride back to the Life Vessel, Pilot didn't even respond to Lupa trying to reach her on the radio on the way. We barely even had time to get the salvage team out of the vehicle when Pilot ordered us to head back out again.
