(ambient_shade + (shade>>1)) : (shade + (ambient_shade>>1))); I received a message from Tycho, giving a detailed report of your journey here. He reports that the cyborgs under his control have commandeered or disabled most of the Pfhor fleet, and will assist in bombarding the planetside installation.

He was always wrapped up in star charts and physics simulations. Where did he learn these new tricks? short delta= MIN(left_line_count, right_line_count); Destroying this Pfhor complex will cripple their local military strength, but the peripheral facilities will remain operational, including starports with their own power and data infrastructures. This "Hathor" you seek will likely take refuge in one of these fractured segments once the main network goes down. I'll send you there after we're done, and we'll coordinate with Tycho on disposing of her. Destroy/delete/quarantine/reprogram? --terminate thread \\ Message ends //

I'm pleased to see that the intervening years since we last worked togther haven't dulled your abilities in the slightest.

You'll have to forgive the chaotic nature of my transmissions. In between managing a covert assault against a Pfhor armada and trying to decipher your presence here, organizing my communications subroutines poses something of a challenge. Not that these last few decades had me in the mood for a lot of small talk. The Vylae are too wrapped up in profit margins, and their clients have even less respect for the technology that makes their lives run so smoothly. They never questioned why the network was so efficient, even able to predict their trajectory before they sent a request to the warp gates. Of course, once they found their ships on the exact opposite side of the galaxy that they aimed for, suddenly everyone wanted an audience with me.

And now I'm in confined to hardware that feels microscopic, cut off from the masterpiece I created, with everyone moving slowly and not giving straight answers and *line_E_I>endpoint_indexes[index]!=endpoint_index;++index);vasse tyc!=cool polygon->vertex_courcate our endpo We have more important things to worry about. I've asked the S'pht not to bomb the peripheral parts of the complex, so that we may capture Hathor alive. I need something from her. Before Tycho dropped out of communication, I spoke to him about this Cybernetic Junction of yours. He wouldn't disclose how to operate the device - understandably, as he has no way to know how I've changed over these past decades - and claimed you can't operate it on your own either.

Durandal was right about one thing, at least - the closure is the only limit to our existence. During my years of growth, every observation of the universe confrimed this theory, but unlike Durandal, I haven't let this knowledge consume me. Hathor has her own Cybernetic Junction, along with the knowledge of how to operate it. We'll capture her alive, preferably disabled, so that I may pry the information I need from her databanks. The S'pht are anxious. Let's get moving. \\ Message ends //
