For that matter, since it inheres in the ultimate, a question arises of to what degree understanding of the ultimate could entail a removal of the prism of the instrument even in its seeming contradiction in a complex ladder climb of ultimate truth. ? The according widely propagated notion of this enterprise's futility, whether by the Erosive or Saturative aspects of the Blightgeist, may seem to preach in one way and by one reason or another that the abdication of responsibility in driving at the ultimate, and the embracement of a supposed inherent futility and absurdity in the enterprise, is actually a virtue. ? This thoughtform, sometimes well-meaning, basically argues that we cannot transcend our own prisms through which we view the lights we receive and therefore see them in their true nature, a notion that is ironically absurd in that, even were it determined to be true, would nonetheless not serve the thinker to embrace because it would also discourage and disarm their means of driving towards the ultimate even should they never reach it. ? Yet the conundrum remains of how one could know the nature of knowing, where knowledge gains self-knowledge and thus can arrive at the ultimate untainted by the employed means (which is to say that wrong employed means would not allow one to arrive at the ultimate at all), and it could therefore be imagined that the existence of any less than ultimate singularity as would include this text and the drive for it would mean that the ultimate has not been arrived at, its eternity only being achieved by spatiotemporal means of arriving at it so that those means are eliminated. ? Such notion, normalized and engendered among beings at large, can give yet further way to the increasing embracement of futility and apathy with respect to mortal quests upon which beings have evolved and their survival and thrival increased. ? Specifically, it insists that the mortal means of driving at the ultimate which present mortal beings are (by nature of such enterprise) unable to comprehend means inevitably that all such roads on the way to it really end in the ruins of ignorance and also to the very alteration and thus further elusiveness of what that reality is, seemingly not believing that general universal laws and principles could not be comprehended which would endure the flotsam and jetsam of happenstance; and to this end the Blightgeist often (ironically ultimately futilely) crafts entire social systems for the degradation of beings at large and as-such, which it also is eager to posit as futile and absurd and in need of mere meantime avoidance if not outright subjugation or extermination, seeking to cultivate therefore a willful and fearful ignorance in the masses in order that they may be discouraged or disarmed from any means of contemplating their own potential or value beyond the lash of the ever-present Blightgeistian overseer. ? One driving at the ultimate has to paradoxically contend with what would constitute its arrival -- that is, it must know of knowing, the nature of which can seem so elusive as to constitute the ultimate itself, or as to make knowledge of the nature of knowing be essentially to know the ultimate and universal. ? Yet even to try to reach understanding of a means to the end of knowing the ultimate, so that one could, upon arrival, separate understanding of that means from the understanding of the ultimate, raises qconcerns -- namely, the means and especially time it would take to understand this particular means or instrument, how we would know that we know it, and how many other instruments are to be comprehended on the journey to comprehending the ultimate. ? For otherwise we err not only by the sloppiness and incuriousness of our own subjective a priori, but in the possibility that the bedrock of assumed knowing by which we drive at the ultimate or even parts within it can prove faulty and lead us down paths of ignorance and ruin that we may not recognize until well after we have set long about the path. ? In any case, the instrument could itself be too limited in nature.
