Yet in the association of the matters purely with the specific manner of contributions (often decontextualized) of certain canonized luminaries, a dogma can emerge which does not get at the matter itself but can adopt a hollow scholastic approach that takes comfort only in the correct invoking of references and associations. ? Through this myopia can indeed arise the salient truth that many universal matters must again be questioned and returned to in order that it at least be ensured they are still understood, or at least sufficiently agreed on to ensure smoothness of social function. ? Ironically, this cultural myopia of the Blightgeist may inspire yet further inroads against beings at large under the resentful mistaken belief that they supposedly do not or even cannot conceive of the answer to the question of matters such as being (which is really to say the Blightgeist's narrow standardized conception of it that is itself a (possibly willfully) distorted echo of the past) and therefore must be placed under a yoke that they may be made to understand or at least blindly serve it for a supposed "greater good". ? Even where a core concern such as being may appear at present not to have a comparably rigorous and ambitious project for its illumination in the form of an act or tome, let alone the successful conditioning (valid or not, which is another question) of masses of beings into agreement on the project and its answers, this is not necessarily due to the absence of ambition or thought for such a project so much as the effect culture can have of either continuously pushing and deifying the old works or ignoring if not squashing (however inadvertently) newer or otherwise different ones. ? Even where its exposition may historically be taken as established based on this or that historical luminary, this is not necessarily so out of an objective higher validity so much as the tides of circumstance and empire which came to allow (if not push) their vision as the height of all conceptions on the matter; and accordingly one must not assume that the lack of a similarly culturally championed insight means that investigation of the matter has subsided, or that this endless cultural conditioning and pushing of their work and thoughts is more the will of the masses upon whom it is pushed (however valid some of its contents may be) than that of both the will of empire under which (if not in a few cases by which) their work sprung combined with the ever-hardening momentum of intergenerational habit running on its own inertia. ? For the struggle of such core concepts as being lies in that, even in its ideal and agreed-upon articulation, it must in subsequent invocation be again mentioned in passing in context with, and as a bedrock for, other less core matters, for the sake of expedience and logistics; especially given that its true exposition would surely be so lofty as to take up much time and effort. ? While by the same token it may be that the seeming present conception of core matters such as being is itself detached from the impetus to such concepts (at least in their earliest and *possibly* rootiest mortal incarnations) and as such may naively disavow part of it as obsolete (to the detriment of true understanding of it), it may not be reliable to detect whether the question of being is or is not being tackled simply because it is not at every invocation contemplated aloud, for seldom may it be so except as a singular deliberate project. ? Wherever it may be insisted that a core notion or question has been forgotten, it often begs the question of which time, and on what basis, it was widely and deeply held enough for this not to be the case; for often it may be that an imagined time and place where the latter prevailed was merely of a different mode of thinking about the subject than the present one which the accuser may not apprehend for this or that reason, which misunderstanding can lead to misguided attempts to herd beings at large towards this or that cause in the name of the believed "right answer" that could really be a phantom.
