I finally managed to reach my science teams below the surface. They are currently protected by a dampening field that prevents transportation underground. They continue in their efforts to reestablish contact with Sentinel. Their current plan, should they succeed, is to convince the AI to activate Istoria's ancient defenses in response to the Pfhor invasion, crippling or destroying the Pfhor warship. I have serious doubts regarding their proposal. Nevertheless, I am letting them continue their work for now, since there isn't much else we can do until you get to Central Command.
Speaking of which, I have run into a bit of a snag. The path to Central Command is currently inaccessible due to numerous heavy gates blocking the main thoroughfares, apparently closed by desperate personnel attempting to protect themselves. Naturally, the Pfhor are simply sidestepping this with transporters, but we will need to find you an alternate means of passage. Explore the area while I try to find a solution.
I've found a path to Central Command. Ultimately, you will need a gold keycard to access the nearby wastewater dam control room, shown here. There is a set of wires housed in this room that controls the dam override. You must destroy these wires to open the floodgate and partially flood the facility. With any luck, you can then swim to the sewage canal's east ledge, where you will come across an access corridor that winds its way to the Central Command complex. It's not the cleanest solution, but I can't find any other way to get there.
The problem is I have yet to locate any personnel with gold keycard access nearby. You need to explore a wider area. A violet door is located to your west, pictured here. There should be a violet keycard on the shelf behind you; pick it up if you haven't already and explore the area beyond the violet door.
As I mentioned before, you must go to the wastewater dam control room, shown here. Use your gold keycard to gain access. Once inside, destroy the wires that control the dam override, and then try to swim to the other side of the wastewater canal once the area is flooded. From there, you should be able to get to the access corridor that leads to Central Command.
So you're aware, I have begun hearing reports that the Pfhor are stepping up their assault by sending more highly trained units to the surface. You will surely start seeing these elite Pfhor as you reach Central Command. Be careful; they pose a much more severe threat than any lower-level infantry you've encountered. This tells me that our efforts to hold out against the assault have been somewhat successful, at least for now. Which quite frankly surprises me. Let's hope our luck continues.
Impressive work. You didn't even need to flood the canal. Unfortunately, this door also requires a gold keycard for access, which was an oversight on my part. Sorry. You need to locate one before you can proceed to Central Command.
Good work. The path to Central Command lies just beyond the door to your left. Once there, I will provide detailed instructions on how to gain access to the main tower and commence repairs. Prepare yourself because there's heavy fighting taking place all over the complex. I can confirm the presence of several elite Pfhor fighter groups in the area. Their projectiles are quite challenging to dodge, and their extreme aggression and speed make them a deadly force to face off against.
