NEFX - "The Owing of Poisonous False-Givens to Ancient Missteps" Subsistence systems as far back as the Neolithic stand as proof that inventions too are mothers of necessities just as necessities are mothers of invention — necessities that by their development, novelty, growth, interaction with their milieu, and mere knowing-of by beings do end up remaining for a long time, requiring lifetimes of changes, reactions, and paradigm shifts to (ideally) come back around to the primeval harmonic truth from before that same (however well-intended) tragic invention. Perhaps it is part of the ultimate duty of beings to withstand the (at first unwitting) chain of necessities and trials as they invent their way out of one stage of struggle and into another, in order that they may ultimately return to an inner harmony through wisdom more than through the initial naïveté by which they only partly experienced it, and thereby understand and acquire the culmination of being. Is much of our life today the long-reverberating after-effect of a folly so ancient that invocations of its preceding truth are framed by those for and against it as merely new and frivolous ideas? Perhaps we are in the midst of a slow realization that much of the seemingly perennial fixtures and foundations of societal life are historical aberrations, the more widely and potently influenced by the tide of human circumstance; and that as we have strayed, so may we yet rebound, for truth ultimately syndicates itself. There may yet be no greater an example of this than in the domain of territorialist bloodshed, and how it grew out of the naive thwarting of primeval harmony through societal development — not least of all because this mode is often cited as the primeval and eternal itself, and used to justify what are ironically further deviations from true harbor and ascension for beings. The very notion of the primacy of blood itself springs from this ancient misstep, for knowledge of it was essential to internally consistent engagement of the territorialist bloodshed system. Early division of labor pivoted largely around primeval bio-roles. With increased distance from societal centers and thus from symbiotic labor relations over the course of primeval human development, and with more at stake to seemingly either lose or find overrun by, beings became more prone to fear and misguided preemptive measures to avoid (often-imagined) murder or castration, which measures in effect were self-fulfilling prophecies. The very form of being most conducive to the formation of life was tragically bound to the tending of this life and thus a narrower area, which in time of rising pyrrhic phallic tantrums across land therefore became overthrown. Surplus — such as of supply, benefit, role, material, spacial, or circumstantial awareness — paradoxically creates sense (or at least impending fear) of scarcity, which gives way to a viewpoint that is based in scarcity (or at least its impending arrival). It is not exactly clear whether the ensuing mutual havoc started from mere greed or a ravenous, somewhat psychopathic devouring impulse. In any case, the added labor needed to produce this surplus, though neither be technically necessary unto themselves so much as inviting to the probing human mind that seeks exploration and edification, cues being into the desperate avoidance of what would later be termed Sisyphean fate. Or perhaps this was merely a propagandic post-hoc excuse. Perhaps at that point in thought development, the amassing of resources had tempted subsets of beings into vicious hoarding. With both the initial fear-based war-waging and the reaction to the inevitably started cycle of it, and the risk and danger involved in participation therein, the ancient territorialist bloodshedder thereby erected the Erosion branch of perennial Blightgeist. That which was voluntarily risked or sacrificed in the pursuit of this aim became the self-perpetuating cultural justification for the territorialist bloodshedder in all their vicious actions, and it remains so to this day. This is further complicated by the fact that understandably very few would fault acts of immediate defense in response to an effect of the territorialist bloodshed cycle started eons ago, but the channels through which many beings join in order to are tied up with other deeds and aspects of the ongoing Erosive enterprise. Meanwhile, beings most responsible for life, whose natural culture was largely borne of this function to benevolent effect, have paid a price. Apologists may justify this development purely by its longevity and the subsequent human developments, as though the former could not or would not be something to outgrow as with many things when it has been revealed as not being so fruitful or even so perennial or based in timeless truth as previously thought; and as though the latter could not merely develop in spite of the general systemic folly in which it grew. We are, after all, not without precedent for The Blightgeist quelling many other such ventures only to push the anomalous successes to the forefront in its historical narratives as somehow necessarily unusual and owed to the system itself, or for the human condition to allow more nuance and outliers than a mere general encompassing system (however powerful) could hope to account for. Too much historical perspective is bound up in broad strokes of the outward prevailing trends, itself often projected by the agenda-driven information framers of the present time and place. But knowing the true roots of being and the later perversion thereof that is classified as the root is essential to our surviving and thriving.
