NEFX - "World Alert Denialism and Pathologies of Convenience" There remains in collective social thought a strain of denialism that levels the variant degrees and consequences of a long-term or recurring dilemma so as to dismiss particularly dangerous or harmful current iterations of it as being manufactured or exaggerated for social power. Such strain is not able or willing to notice the significance of long-term trends that overshadow the relative unpredictability of short-term events, both in actuality and in terms of the flawed and developing human means thus far employed to predict them. It is borne of a long-term territorialist conditioning, whether motivated by fearful bio-bias or the subject’s (often correct) fear of its own future expediency by outside forces of this conditioning. Such a mindset cannot conceive that the general ebb and flow of natural, universal trends does not negate external contributions to them, particularly those in excess of what the (seemingly) will-less laws hold for inner balance and equilibrium; balance that was reached through eons of development, in comparison with the cataclysmic shifts brought by the cumulative collective folly of beings. This ire at perceived threats to being is largely disingenuous because they pertain mainly to convenience, however subconsciously; with the justification that threats to this are but starting points for later violations of dignity and right, which the world alert denialist is still content to ignore or simply deny to supposed categorical “lessers”. World alert denialism is an expression of a subconscious need to continue to live on the boards of historical hegemony and general comfortable expense, but in many cases it can seldom express this for fear of being revealed in its full nature before a multitude of beings who have (by varying degrees) not yet been conformed by force of mental conditioning or sheer brutality to the ultimate malign thoughtform that the world-alert denialist is generally prey to, which is the Blightgeist’s essence (generally Erosive in nature). Deeper still, such denialism can scarcely reveal its own full ramifications to itself, for its investment in its own ego hinges on the spurious notion of an innate, pre-destined success to which conditions — nay, the very premise — for world alert are too threatening. Indeed, they are threatening -- but not as much to circumstance as to the subject’s sense of entitlement thereto. Yet the irony of this position is that the very cause of world alertness is such thought forms as the denialist possesses and acts by; for the denialist is legion, and sightlessly wastes and despoils to maintain an ultimately incomplete, illusory, and ego-based sense of contentment that consists largely in having what a perceived other does not. In essence, the world-alert denialist lives on a subconscious terrain of guilt that may functionally drive them but leaves them disconnected from the world essence that may furnish them — even if the incomplete version of such awareness drives a particular, more potent and outwardly obvious misery that is thereby mistaken by Blightgeistian subjects such as the world-alert denialist for the icon of world-alertness and thus also its supposed folly. Often when a peoples’ demand for justice becomes great, it is co-opted by a branch of The Blightgeist (usually Saturation) to mitigate and profit from it so as to stay brutally atop its subjects, whereupon it is often pointed out by its Erosive element as proof of the hollowness of the Lightcause itself. The notion of lesser conditions for other beings on the one hand inspires the world alert denialist, but also threatens them when expanded to the world stage due to what could have, but for the tides of circumstances, been their own sorry lot. The combined paralytic guilt of this subconscious awareness and insecurity at the impending deprivation of their present means is enough to elicit raging malice. Thus, world alert denialism generally takes the form of at least one of the following: Trivializing a vast dilemma for beings, framing it as a net positive, abrogating duty towards it to an outside force (namely an imagined inevitable progress of collective thought, innovation, and resource), and making recourse to the importance of another wide dilemma as though it were not contiguous with the one under focus (and perhaps willingly not calling into question the veracity of such a system that so precludes world-alertness in much of contemporary thoughtform). These notions generally take the form of culturally given tropes that invoke bio-historical “givens” as though to cow the other subject by both their seeming natural-universal enormity and common social use, yet it seldom truly engages with such topics themselves as much as it immediately gets away from them, or passes by them; as if mere mention of them were to bring all those who hear it into a reverent, shameful silence, or the thinker were to project onto nature and universality their own cultural recourse to “how things have always been”. Even never minding the irrelevance of such a canard to the net consequences of human trajectory over centuries and the according shifts in need, this is disingenuous, and also neglects the extent to which collective mindful practice of stewardship, world care, and synergetic relationship with surroundings of all forms can elevate beings beyond the key issue that would motivate such a practice. This practice would ultimately help relieve many contradictions, including those which afflict the world alert denialist and to which it wrongfully responds in part by becoming who they are in the first place.
