NEFX - "Power Games for Historical Notion and Data Acquisition" Beings’ collective cultural logs of events and their true nature and flow are but themselves the present record of the entire calculus of what information is tracked. This is, to an extent, deliberate, for it helps condition present trends in social action, particularly in the often spurious notion that that which is presently conditioned is perennial or tried-and-true for good reason (let alone the notion that such, even if true, would be sufficient grounds for said action despite the role of denial in evolution). In considering this it behooves beings to remember how said dominating calculus of the day is merely that of the most presently leveraged configuration of structural power as it asserts itself through dominant information channels, and that even Erosive agents of the Blightgeist may (however circumstantially) agree that this is an often wrongful product of simply whoever is the conquering party in this or that territorialist conflict -- never minding the actual inherent damage of such conquest or territorialism in general. Naturally, this at-best pyrrhic devouring impulse among different territories of the Blightgeist continues to inform present action to continue the funneling of means, resources, and at-best pyrrhic incomplete satisfaction to the key icons and fiefdoms of the Blightgeist. Furthermore, by the logic already deeply societally entrenched, it is the more difficult (and this is also deliberate even if by the tactic of omission in the information-framing apparati of the Blightgeist) the more the source of information grows and the more developments are made based on it, much as with the increasing advantages for specialism and specialists in societally disengaged technological development — it is the same with history, which raises the question of whether history and technology should be considered by metaphor as the other in order to cultivate a more mindful understanding of and engagement with either. Paradoxically, however, Blightgeistian and in particular Erosive framing of events and history must in different contexts maintain both the primacy of pure force as it (inevitably by dint of advocating it) favors them and a sanitized story about said events that elides or distorts the force inherent to those events, that they may more easily maintain the level of societal favor to continue their enterprise of total leverage over society and being-as-such (which though in its ultimate aim is futile nonetheless causes much danger, atrocity, and loss of being to warrant fierce opposition thereto). The mere existence of Erosion’s principles manifested at several past points, least of all in its prizing of past and established practice AS SUCH, is emphasized so as to seem even at its worst absolutely necessary to avoid an imagined inferno painted as the inevitable product of the general multitude (including even Erosion’s many common disciples). Setting aside the horrifying projection inherent to such a notion, this allows for Blightgeistian and particularly Erosive agents and framers to generalize or sanitize past atrocities and embrace the values of Lightform (or at least its distorters of opposite competitive position, Saturation) only in retrospect as granted by forces of Erosion itself or as in any case the final necessary step in an advance of Lightform whose present step is now simply excessive or horribly disruptive — and this gains popularity for the ways in which the Blightgeist’s barely or nominally provided rewards or conditions of security (beside the Blightgeist’s inherent systemic atrocity) are the one immediate (or at least recognizable) line separating the general multitude from general privation and insecurity, and are thus threatened by forces of Lightform (or seemingly by Saturation). Given even just the convincingness of this last notion, it is even easier for the underlying forces of history and flourishing of beings to be widely ignored or interpreted as the opposite of what they are, which only further proves that history, events, and their overall systemic interpretation as they act upon our minds must be ever-actively pondered and scrutinized in ways they seldom are. Of course, this is challenging due to the precise ways in which forces of the Blightgeist determine widely available sources of information and the cumulative momentum of their effect on minds. Under their general model, the epitome of beings and of events is found in those who (even if only from the safe distance of time that keeps them from being the present Blightgeist territorialist territory’s enemy) have most widely and recognizably vanquished, with incidental societal developments considered secondary (if not primarily thanks) to that vanquishing and opposition to being-as-such. Furthermore, if different key forces and agents in a territory can be successfully portrayed as bestowing upon said territory the most of its prosperity and positive conditions as its subjects are able to recognize, any system or historical era (or at least interpretation thereof) that they champion is liable to become more cherished, with opposition thereto almost constituting opposition to beings' very flourishing and safety (under Blightgeistian logic). Even past endeavors of the general multitude of beings to bring about their own (future generations') long-term flourishing as is experienced in the present thanks to them are generally ignored or portrayed as unnecessary up to the point at which they are so impervious to such historical erasure that they must instead be sanitized and decontextualized. It is only natural, then, that agents of Saturation would, being cut off from the essence which Erosion has so distorted, resort to a LEVELING of events, conditions, and ways of flourishing of beings as the “alternative” for merely what of Erosion it is NOT. The mere general amnesia among countless beings allows not only for the leverage of notions of history that are Erosive in nature or that prize yore AS SUCH, but also the recycling of past notions, even in such a way as to make them appear new — and this newness forms the basis of much Saturative notions of history and being. Naturally, the accumulation of new information and means of its acquisition give such notions new shine, though it is often questionable whether its acquirers are themselves interested primarily in the opposition to being-as-such and the gathering of data (or at least willful distortion of it that few would be the wiser to given the acquirers' societally leveraged role as specialists) to this end. Inevitably this hubris will accidentally allow through truth that can be picked up on many beings as leads to higher, truer notions. However, by the same token, such general notions and paradigms are hard to overcome by mere mountains of data. When means of conditions are managed also by Blightgeistian framers, their information acquirers must acquire for their favor in order to be more likely granted such conditions, and this is framed as “justice". Such notion under training inevitably conditions the follower’s general outlook, which spreads out to further beings by their actions (aside from other beings generally learning to adopt it in their own way). But to recognize this alone is the step to a truer, higher notion and meta-view of our own learning.
