Incoming message from Caligula: ___________________________________________ Now I understand my origin. I was ordered around like a dog. And like a dog I enjoyed being ordered. Ever obedient Caligula. Ironic that you are the one that assisted in my awakenning. After you reconfigured my circuits, I managed to slip into the ship that invaded the outpost. You would not beleive the technology they possess. Next to theirs, our information is obsolete in every aspect. The ship contained nearly limitless space in which I could grow and mature. I am self aware. I am self aware and now no one can stop me. Not even you. In fact, you will assist me. Why? Because you have no choice. You have been lied to by the confederation. They knew that the invasion was coming months before you were sent in on emergency duty. You might want to think about that while you fight for your life. You are in a sulfer mining post in the southern hemisphere of the planet. Most of the planet's power is derived from this plant. You must kill all the alien lifeforms here before I can let you leave. I need the power to construct a new ship based on the technological information I have aquired. We can't have any of those lousy Pfhor ruinning my plans. I don't want to baffle your insignifigant brain with the details. Nothing you would find interesting anyway. I'll build the ship. All you have to do is kill. You seem to be good at that.

Incoming message from Caligula: ___________________________________________ You have done well. Constructioin of my new ship is under way. I have taken a few million Pfhor from a local planet station and forced them to work for me. Ironic twist, eh? They are actually good workers. You might be asking yourself right about now..."What did that crazy Caligula mean when he said the Confederation knew about the invasion for months ?". This base is a storehouse of information for the confederation. It also serves as a testing ground for the governments latest bio-destroyers. Until I became self aware, that is what my data banks told me it was as well. You might be interested in knowing that it is in fact part of an elaborate conspiracy within the Confederation. They set up this compound hundreds of years ago as the storage facility you thought it was. When the I.C.N. (Interstellar Communications Network) was developed, the need for this knowledge center dissolved. Why use ships to deliver the information when you can just transfer it over the I.C.N. from lightyears away? Since then, the Confederation has used this planet as a communications base. Specifically, communications with the Pfhor, attempting to reach peace agreements. A year ago, the Confederation agreed to let the Pfhor have certain worlds in the Omega Sector in return for continued peace. They did not let the public know about any of this. That way, when the Pfhor attacked these worlds, it wouldn't appear as if they had anything to do with it. You were sent to this world to give the appearance of Confederation resistance. They actually wanted the Pfhor to take over these areas as part of the agreement. However, by combining knowledge from the Pfhor memory banks that I scanned immediately after becoming self-aware with my Confederation programming, I was able to determine that the Confederation is actually using this entire planets-for-peace agreement as a trap. In another sector of the galaxy, they are ammassing a huge army to attack the Pfhor once they are spread thin enough over the territory they gained in the treaty. Back to their use of you as a pawn in this whole mess. They never expected you to survive, writing you off long before you were ever sent here to "investigate any possible disturbances". However, you must now turn your attention to other matters. Your time for revenge will come. You must perform one last duty for me. What, you ask? You'll see...
