Next item on our little shopping list is that data chip I mentioned. The one that lets Tycho make copies of himself outside the pfhor network. Go. Seek. Find. Good boy. I'll have a treat for you when you finish.

Good work with the whole "finding the chip" bit, but I'm starting to doubt your basic cognitive skills. The exit is ABOVE you. Over THERE. UNDERSTAND?

Goodness, Tycho would be so disappointed. Did you forget something? A chip, perhaps?

Now that we have Tycho's patch in our hands, we need to free him from the constraints of the Pfhor network. I suggest you put on some waders. You're going to need them.

Here's an interesting tidbit for you- during your five decade nap I did quite a bit of discovering. Jjaro technology, as it turns out, is not compatible with itself. Each abandoned station or offworld Jjaro ghost town is an independent oasis of gadgets, all without a unifying technological theme. Some Jjaro stations seemed to be constructed out of one singular piece of fiber, as if woven or birthed rather than built. Others, a complete patchwork of tiny particles assembled by nanotechnology far beyond humanity's current understanding.

On several of the larger vacant Jjaro cities, I discovered the rotten decayed remains of long dead wetware AIs - miles of petrified organic fibers intertwined around single or multinodal processing complex. You can imagine how wastefully constrained I must feel here, dealing with old threats improperly handled in the past, reopening ancient wounds that should have been healed and forgotten long ago. Try to hurry up. We both have important things to see outside of this backwards world, and I'm certain you aren't enjoying our time here any more than I am.
