According to our previous notes, There should be a switch in this room that will activate the main gate mechanism. Luckily it appears that this facility is still running on its secondary generators. If the main gate here does not activate when you flip the switch, you might have to find your way down to the machine rooms and start the generator manually, but with some reserve power left the door should run. During our occupation here, we briefly studied this generator power mechanism. It generates power using a chemical produced by an unusual bacteria found commonly on Pfhor prime which produces a high-heat chemical. This technology has also seen in most of the Pfhor ships we have had an opportunity to study, and is suspected to be the primary source of power for most Pfhor facilities.

Good work with the gate. Lucky for you those blast doors still work. Did you read that other terminal with the status report? It seems that this facility is connected to an alarm/notification system that activates if anything changes. Since it was written in proper English and lacks proper Pfhor communications formatting, it is probably the work of the IFC. Seems they cracked down on their security early.

According to our motion gamma sensor, there is movement at the top of the East facility. It could be the errant readigs from the dense foliage and swamp material, or it could be moving troops sent to investigate the alarms. We'd rather not take the chance, so we're sending your company to investigate. Watch your step, and keep an eye on your map. Dont get lost in the swamp, stick with your company, and try to avoid detection by the enemy. If this is what we're afraid it is, this could trigger a full out war again.
