Time: 08:33, September 19 Location: Mountain path Don't be confused by the time; changing time zones can be a bit of a pain. Anyway, this is the war zone. Pfhor and Renegades are fighting it out all along the path, and I would recommend that you let them fight. The Dark Star is to the north, but this is as close as I could bring you remotely. You'll have to use specifically pre-aimed teleport terminals to get any closer. If a mountain wasn't in the way, you could probably see the tower from here.

Pfhor forces are currently losing the battle in this region, as they are all around the citadel; the renegade force is far stronger and more intelligent than they are. However, the chaos and melee should be enough for you to get through relatively unharmed. However: a squadron of our boys are trapped in a structure to the east, pinned down by a bunch of Renegade s. It'd be nice of you to go and save them, if it's convenient for you. We're just passing through. Look for any terminal that can bring you closer to the tower.

We're losing this battle. Losses between the Acheron and planetside fighting are immense. Like, shamefully so. No commander in his right mind would divide so few forces like this, but we don't have any other option. UESC Command has made a sarcastic joke in my direction; they're calling this mission "The Gray Incident" because, when they blot it (and me) out of their record books, all that will remain is a gray smudge. They don't even know that the renegades are gray. It's irony. Do your best to save my men, please.

[ Pfhor translator active ] We're losing this battle. Losses between the Tr'feras and planetside fighting are immense, to the point of great shame No commander in his right mind would divide so few forces like this, but we don't have any other option. The High Council has made a sarcastic joke in my direction; they're calling this mission "The Yellow Incident" because, when they execute me for my incompetence, all that will remain is a yellow smudge, They don't even know that some of these S'pht are yellow. It's quite ironic. The Gray Incident secret terminal 4/7

[ S'pht translator active ] Let me divulge upon you a query. Do you find it vain or bullheaded that one faction of a species would wish the other, larger faction of the species entirely extinct because of one episode of cowardice and incompetence a thousand years ago, that betrayed our fellow men and surrendered everything they had to an insectoid slaving species? That's a rhetorical question; not because it has an obvious answer, but because I don't care enough to hear yours. What happened a thousand years ago, when our "bretheren" voted to abandon the S'pht and leave them to their fate in the hands of Pfhor enslavement and murder was an act that marked our entire genus for extinction. The fact that they survived means nothing.

Am I wrong, then, for wanting to finish the job that the Pfhor failed to do, and kill those who were once my masters' bloodkind for what they tried to do? Another rhetorical; same reason. Unfortunately, at this juncture, I have no choice but to teleport you to your destination; so wired is this terminal, and not even I can change that. But I can give you a frame of time before your species, as the S'pht, becomes permanently annihilated: Six hours. I would have left your kind alone, had you not meddled. Now, goodbye.
