You'll have to use specifically pre-aimed teleport terminals to get any closer. If a mountain wasn't in the way, you could probably see the tower from here.
Pfhor forces are currently losing the battle in this region, as they are all around the citadel; the renegade force is far stronger and more intelligent than they are. However, the chaos and melee should be enough for you to get through relatively unharmed. However: a squadron of our boys are trapped in a structure to the east, pinned down by a bunch of Renegade s. It'd be nice of you to go and save them, if it's convenient for you. We're just passing through. Look for any terminal that can bring you closer to the tower.
