=== HYPERION ACCESS LINK INSTALLED === - FINALLY! What took you so long? - Don't you know it's standard procedure to contact me via the computer network as soon as you arrive. This will increase my level of access to the alien system, and allow me to track you more easily. Besides, you will have to receive your instructions that way. If you want to go sight seeing or play with the aliens you can do so in your spare time. Right now we have a mission to accomplish. => more ...

** Mission briefing ** You are in what seems to be a water purification plant. Sensor readings show this place to be completely infested with Pfhor and even creatures from their home world. I wonder why they transported them here. Perhaps it will make them feel more at home on this otherwise desolate world. They are using the dreaded enforcers (see left diagram) as guardians throughout this facility. Try to avoid them if you can. ~&*# shj ,, fdiomm system interrupt /? Once your presence was detected several security doors were locked and the entire plant entered alarm phase one. $* tamp...ng Pf..r mr ^&*263 ,;;;s

t appears the Pfhor are @24- trying to disable our ..?29-dhn communication. This is an exploration mission to learn more about the local defense system. I can only hope (for you) that it is operated by a central computer. Find more terminals and access them. $^&3 Intruder alert: section alpha-4 To open the security doors you will have to insert special chip keys into corresponding sockets. You must look for the keys. On the map here I have marked the location of one of the insertion sockets, as well as the location of a second terminal. Contact me there for further instructions. === HYPERION ACCESS LINK TERMINATED ===

=== HYPERION ACCESS LINK INSTALLED === Great! The doors are open again. You will have to investigate the outdoor facilities next. My analysis of the data you have gathered so far leads me to conclude that there has to be at least one more access terminal. Find it! Perhaps then I'll finally be able to get the layout of this entire compound and access the defense computer. In the room shown on the left is a switch that you may have found already during your explorations. It can only be operated when the pumps are active and the water is being drained to a level below that of the switch. It will open a door high above. Explore the room behind it.

This waterfall is really strange. It looks like one but my scanners cannot penetrate it. Why would they protect a waterfall with a shield? I believe it is used as a disguise. It may be hiding something from the eye of the casual observer. Go explore it and be very thorough. When you're done you will report your findings at an operational terminal. It is likely that this terminal, and the other ones will be permanently disabled by the Pfhor to prevent further unauthorized access. Be quick! === HYPERION ACCESS LINK TERMINATED ===

=== HYPERION ACCESS LINK INSTALLED === It seems the Pfhor have deleted all essential data from their defense system. Either that or the artifical intelligence controlling this compound is indeed very clever in hiding what it does not want me to find... Never mind. We'll do it the old way, which means of course that you will have to clear your path using heavy artillery. Hah! I wish I could see the smile on your face right now. === HYPERION ACCESS LINK TERMINATED ===
