8: Hammer of the Gods

This was your original destination, before the renegade Pfhor sidetracked you. I will have to investigate that further. As you may have guessed, the Pfhor do not want us plundering any more of their secrets. You will need to act quickly. There is a Pfhor computer system here that I need desperate access to. The Pfhor AI Network here is quite sophisticated, and will be difficult to penetrate.

You will need to find a computer chip, probably stored underground, and place it in the recepticle I have scanned. It will override the locks on the doors to the computer system. I will then be able to access the technical data of the Pfhor battlecruiser, which appears to be hiding at present. Now that we have the contragravity technology, we can try to produce some more practical weapons with it. I will have a prototype gravity lance ready in a few weeks. But we will need to survive to be able to use it. The odds are quite good that the battlecruiser will intercept us as we try to leave the system, and I prefer to be prepared.
