NEFX - Groverwildcarns.txt ? Thus people are bound by morality, survival, and evolution to question where select information comes from and why, especially where it is amidst related information or resource that is portrayed as not yet known and requiring the agent to seek. ? Accordingly, much as they portrayed critical stakes and desperation of the thing brought ot the subject, so can they for things not directly brought to them. ? Their projected position established, hey can shirk ertswhile duties on account of others, such as would concern similar high-stakes things as they sought the subject's help about. ? But the agent can project both earnestness in striving to know, including in the study of that which is found, retrieved, and returned, and also in the offering of help or reward upon this retrieval. ? why and how something lost can be said to be found within a certain boundary (be it physical or geographical, or figuratively or abstractly, etc), but not precisely pinpointable; let alone the general elusiveness of the scheme and words issued by the agent. ? e. ? This of course begs the question of how and why such would be known, i. ? But at the same time, the proximity and findability of some of what is lost, or pieces thereof, can be portrayed as offering enough hope and feasibility of the cause for the subject to set about carrying out the agent's will and setting them on the path of service of the thing and agent's pet cause. ? Here again the fear of the unknown can be invoked, because that which is lost cannot be so easily found. ? Now, the subject's thinking being ideally (to the agent) funneled, it is yet proportionally more funnellable, and therefore, more specific and varied concrete actions can be ordered of them as supposedly the surest way to help the thing in question. ? Here even the loftiest envisionable states of thrival if not outright survival can be portrayed as hinging on the helping and restoring of the thing in question, likewise with an implied "or else" on part of the manipulating agent that self-defeatingly lays the hollowness of the call for help bare as at least being fuelled more by a mercenary or domineering impulse (which may likewise have to answer to another structurally higher-ranking force imposing upon the agent) than by absolute material necessity or higher principle. ? What's more, the manipulating agent could portray the thing as having been on the verge of a new occurrence, action, statement, etc, that would have brought the masses to a higher state as well, mainly through the raising of conditions, but that was stopped by a misfortune or injustice that befell it and thus required this newly called-for help -- and this almost-there or almost-was is always present. ? Accordingly, they may be imbued with a somewhat controlling streak themselves in seeking to thwart and subvert the masses, often by restoring the thing in question to a higher state of structural power, under the paternalistic guise of helping them by helping the thing. ? This premise being set, the subject generally is (as is borne out by history) galvanized into action (be it on some level out of fearful compulsion and desire of reward, being often in a relatively desperate situation and under the at least implied threat by the manipulating agent) in the name of this thing. ? Here, insecurity and fear not only of the unknown but what the subject does not know that they don't know (or, more to the point, that they know that they don't know what it is they don't know), can be ascribed to the loss or damaging of the thing being invoked and, by extension, to a bogey (generally masses or beings at large) supposedly responsible for this, and then connected to other, generally more concrete issues facing the subject in either their own experience or in their observable surroundings. ? Where privation arising from the loss of these things (be that more due to conditioned dependence on the system which provides them at a price generally unseen or ignored due also to mass conditioning) can be found, it is emphasized and correlated (even disingenuously) with the decline of generally abstract principles such as wisdom. ? The situation invoked for helping the thing in question could concern something as simple as retrieval, and yet (and also for that matter) as great as the seeking and returning of various lost things, especially where they can be portrayed as being so lost by a confluence of pressures acting upon the thing; a thing which is at once depicted as both unimpeachably powerful and strong, and yet so wrongly persecuted. ? But a pattern in this manipulation is that it is seldom seen or clarified the nature of the allyship up to this point, let alone that the moment in contact is for securing a favor for an ultimately unclear shceme -- a technique leveled towards those in less materially empowered situations than the agent in question. ? Here, the thing to (it is hoped) be helped by the subject, which can be an enterprise, group, person, cause, etc, is invoked with reference to its supposed importance, the agent's awareness of this and the thing's importance or history either recent or afar, and a presumed pattern of instability that may marr the thing's success and repute. ? Proceeding from there, the agent can invoke something of great and novel magnitude, especially if it concerns something like leadership in the world-as-known, or the cutting edge of technology; or, as the case may be, the convergence of both (such as an artificial intelligence in control). ? Sometimes the context of this past or convincing is unclear; but to open with such sentiment, as a kind of beginning supposed premise of the conrolling and convincing rhetoric to follow, is a way to ingratiate the manipulator to their subject for help even where the context of approaching them in such a way gives away the truth of the transactional nature of the so-called allyship. ? In methods of attaining control, especially by charisma or convincing, the manipulating agent can frequently rely on invoking not just gestures of allyship to their subject, but also the idea of a shared past.
