So you got the elevator working somehow. Good.

There's more than just a coolant leak, I'm afraid. Somehow the core has sprayed radioactive slag all over the lower level of the plant. To vent it, you need to open this drainage port. The switches are somewhere on the south end of the plant. I don't know how you can get there. Best of luck.

I can't tell where you're logging in from -- it seems to be a bootleg access. No matter. This is my daughter Kat. She died 3 years ago from leukemia. When she was sick I couldn't deny her anything, except that whenever she started a sentence with "After I'm gone away," I wouldn't let her finish.

I paid a month's salary to get her a cloned owl, because she wanted one. When she died her older sister Lise took care of it, but always referred to it as Kat's. Once she took it to the Vajayan's house, and Mrs. Vajayan told her to "get that filthy animal out of my house at once." Lise told her -- I've heard this repeated many times -- "Kat's hoot [that's Kat-speak for owl] is not filthy and you ought to be glad to have him." Mrs. Vajayan sent her home. I told her Mrs. Vajayan didn't have enough intelligence to appreciate owls.

Lise was supposed to be at Mrs. Vajayan's house today, when the bombing started. After you're done here, I'll ask you to go there and see if they're safe.

Wish I could have gotten you this info sooner. To your left (east on the map), is a room with 2 switches. The one on the right will open the drainage port; the one on the left is a circuit breaker (I think) for the upper levels.

If you make it here, I can transport you to the residential section, so you can check on my family. Ian out.

You've reached the exit point, but you've got to drain the radioactive slurry from the plant or there won't be any point in securing the residences -- you'll be vaporized right along with them. Please hurry. I fear for my daughter.

I've been in contact with Marathon Station. It's unclear how much is still under human control. An AI program there called "Leela" is sending intelligence to the colony, and none of it is pretty.

One. We've got several types of enemy, roughly grouped into the "Pfhor" and the "Sph't." Some malfunctioning AI program on Marathon summoned them here, for reasons unknown.

Two. Seems the company has infiltrated the colony with human-looking cyborg mockups, programmed to keep us productive and loyal.

Three. The "Pfhor" or "Sph't" know about these cyborg things, and are working on a way to reprogram them. I have seen both Pfhor and Sph't dying, through security cameras, but I don't know what it takes to kill a cyborg. Leela doesn't either. You may soon be finding out. God be with you.
