This concludes our relationship for now. Ripley, Armand & Wiggin is no more. No need to fret, I have taken my assets with plans to create a startup company. As soon as I line up some venture capital I'll be back in business. The year I achieve a profit I'll look you up, assuming you are still amongst the living. Until then, amuse yourself with whatever this planet has to offer. Don't think that exploring the ancient filtration center nearby will make any difference to me. Whatever happens here, you will not be paid for. Oh, and I'm afraid your medical and dental have been canceled, so try not to get hurt. --END MESSAGE

Greetings.... No, this isn't your standard terminal. I'm the author of Hostile Takeover and I would like to thank you for trekking all the way down here. It has been over two years in the development of this level pack. No, I didn't spend all of my time working on this project, in fact, I think I spent much of my time not working on it. Hence, it really should have been finished in a year, but at least I have it done. I couldn't have done this levels without some help so I like to thank the following people for their assistance:

Dan Carl, Jr. for his emotional support, suggestions and most importantly, for "volunteering" to have is picture taken to create the terminal found on "No Parking in the Red Zone".

Mike Bushey for encouraging (well, maybe pestering :-) me to finish Hostile Takeover. Also, for helping me to obtain the digital camera needed to take pictures of Dan.

Mark Gelotte (maeric@earthlink.net) for helping me beta test my levels. Coincidentally, Mark tied me for the runner up spot in the Marathon Infinity contest a few years back.

I really feel relieved now that this project is finished. So many times you'll find yourself starting something and then losing interest in it once the going gets tough. However, its those that finish the job who have something to show for their efforts. Enough of my rants, I'm sure you've had enough. Also, please be on the look out for Chimera: The Prophecy. I currently have two maps contributed to that enormous project. Both maps push over 1,000 polys and are the most complex ones I have ever attempted. Also, please be sure to check my website at http://www.mindspring.com/~absynthe if you're interested in downloading some custom levels for Starcraft. Later.... ---Absynthe (absynthe@mindspring.com)
