Jack, I don't know if you are receiving any of this. We had lost your signal when you were teleported deeper in to the machine underground. We were able to finally get a lock on you when we scanned a sector that suddenly showed high levels of activity. Including an extremely rapid rise in energy fluctuations flowing out. As we were extracting you a wave of energy was enveloping the planet. It blocked any high frequency transportation in or out. Luckily we still had a lock on your signal, it seems to have bounced back down in one piece. A secondary increase in the field lost any ability to scan. I am sending this message in hopes that by some means possible it finds you. With this shield up there is no way to get in or out. You are trapped, as are the alien invaders still stuck in there with you. Their ship has left with the activation of the shield. We are setting up a satellite to monitor conditions. Use it to relay a message back to us when you are able to get free. I'll send a rescue party to extract you at that point. I have the deepest faith in you.
