In short- We know nothing about Faleioss. It is extremely far from Earth and is very near the region where the UESC Marathon was attacked by the Ph'for all those years ago.
We are also running quite a few risks by being here. This area is strictly classified Ph'for Territory. If the Ph'for discovered us, we would be attacked and most likely killed. This pod is accompanied by 6 armed cruisers and 3 transports of infantry, but we still do not have the firepower to withstand a direct Ph'for assualt. Intelligence also reports that the Ph'for have outfitted their enforcers with a powerful new weapon. Now that you have your weapons, I will brief you on the coming mission: You are being sent down to surface of the planet to search for the source of the power surge. You will be supported by 100 soldiers carried in by transport to this location. If you meet any resistance, you have the authority to fight back.
