Looks like the Ph'for got here first. I'm sorry, but it seems like I transported you and your friends into some sort of ambush. The Ph'for have this place completely surrounded. Their pattern of movement suggests that they detected the power surge as well and are searching for it's source just like we are. If this is the case, then this mission has become a race to see who can get their hands on it first. We must find it first. Whatever created that power surge, it has to be incredibly powerful or we would not have detected it all the way from Earth. Also, these structures were obviously made by intelligent life. We never knew of a species in existance here, but that is only because of our faulty intelligence. Whether the creators of these ruins are extinct or have just abandoned the area is still unknown to me. I will analyze the info you've gathered carefully.
I do know that no one has been here for a long time. The building you are standing in is over 10000 years old. I'm not even sure the power surge originated from anything that the creatures that constructed this built, but that is a logical conclusion. This terminal didn't have any information on its creators contained within it. I am looking for one that does. The Ph'for tracking devices were definately more sophisticated than ours. They arrived 2 days ago. I don't know why they haven't found the power source yet. They have 3 cruisers in the upper atmosphere, where we couldn't detect them. It's obvious that they knew we were coming. Our men weren't even suspicious of a Ph'for trick, and we were caught off our gaurd. All I need you to do is hold your ground and try to fight them off until I figure out what to do.
Hello again. It looks like you're proving a fair match for the Ph'for... The power source is going to take some time to get to. I now see why the Ph'for haven't reached it yet. The energy seems to be coming from behind 2 huge, ancient doors. These doors are made of an alloy the U.E.S.C. has never encountered before. It's not in any of the records. This alloy is magnetic, and it somehow acts as a dampening field, making it impossible for me to teleport you into the region for which it is the gateway. The alloy is too dense for us to cut through. In other words, you have to find a way to open the doors. I think I may have found a solution to this problem.
<checkpoint 1>
These two slots look like they are receptacles for a kind of data chip that I have detected elsewhere on this world. They are both placed right next to the 2 strange doors. If you insert chips into both of these receptacles, the doors just might open. The chips are made of the same alloy that the 2 doors are made of, and nothing else on this planet is.
<checkpoint 0>
I have detected one of these chips here. This is the closest chip to your current location.
<checkpoint 2>
Another chip is located here. It is also relatively close to your location. If you can obtain both of these chips and insert them into these receptacles, I will contact you again once we see what happens.
This structure is the source of the power surge. All factors suggest so. We would send a team inside, but we cannot cut through the door. It has a dampening field, like the other doors did, but this structure's field is not as powerful. I have no idea why. What I do know however, is that since the field is weak, I can transport one individual inside. You have probably already guessed that it will be you. You may be in danger once inside; we are uncertain. We will be able to communicate with you. You will be in no way cut off from us. I am not sure I will be able to transport you back, however, and we don't know if the Ph'for have already infiltrated the structure. Good luck is all I can give you. **********PREPARE FOR TRANSPORT************
