We have been boarded by the Ph'for. The vessel nearest to the Virulent upon our departure from Coruli quickly closed the distance between us and holds us hostage. Our newly acquired crew of 14 is inadequate defense against the invading forces. Our only hope to by some means disable the Ph'for ship and depart before the others arrive. Destroying or shutting down one of their reactors should be sufficient. It won't destroy the ship but it will allow us to escape. I have no data on the interior of the ship other than that such a reactor does exist, you'll have to board it and find your own way around. Also, protect the new crew at all costs; they are unlikely to be replacable. There are weapons in sick bay. The Coruli mission was a success. You'll be informed when this matter is dealt with.

Good work. You've cleared the path to the aft reactor. From what I can tell there's no readily accessible exit from the reactor room, so you'll have to find a nearby escape pod and fly back to the ship once you've managed to shut it down. The door shown here should bring you to the aft reactor.

All fighter and trooper units report to the airlock immediately and exterminate intruders. Proceed to commandeer enemy vessel. Failure to comply will result in execution. Source of distress signal still unknown. 12% hull damage due to massive shockwave emitted from nearby star system. Cause unknown. No life detected on planetary (body/form) "Coruli".

Obviously I have now infiltrated the Ph'for database, and I have determined that the reactor closest to your position is the aft reactor. It's in a high security area, so you'll have to get through some locked doors to get there. If you start on the lowest decks it should be the easiest. I have been communicating with the humans we retrieved from Coruli, and all of them have suffered extensive memory loss. None of them remember how they got to Coruli, but they were all crew men on a U.E.S.C. vessel called the Swordfish, and last remember being aboard it. No recollections of any disasters or problems of any kind, either. A mystery we may perhaps never solve...

Destroying the wires in this room will make the rest of this floor accessible to you, leaving one more step before you can get to the reactor. Inside the newly accessible area is the pad shown at left. Standing on this pad will open the way to the reactor. After you've done so, report back to this or any other terminal for further instructions.
