31: Reprieve

Thanks to you, we have eluded the Ph'for once again. At last, there is time to explain exactly what it was we learned from the mission to The Black City. The location of the Deifying Well was kept secret, and indeed, we have still not as yet ascertained it. Although the primary reason for its construction was the impending supernova of the Falion star, precautions were indeed taken to keep the Ph'for from following the Falions on their mass exodus. Although we still do not know the location of the well istelf, the database we downloaded contained extensive data on an ancient and massive Falion library, coincidentally and conveniently located on an asteroid close to our current location. If the information we seek is stored anywhere, it's there. I shouldn't even have to tell you that it will likely be under the highest security, and that, like

most other places in this area of space, the library is likely infiltrated by the Ph'for or some other hostile force. In fact, the data we've gathered shows that this very library was once the site of a great conflict between the Falions and the Ph'for. During the course of the battle, several areas were strategically sealed off by the Falions, and the oxygen was flushed out of them. During the conflict, most of the station also lost power. Therefore, it will necessary to retrieve both backup chips and activate emergency power. I'll give you the details once you're down there...
