NEFX - Necessity_as_Bait_and_Blindfold A frequent cost of directly- and specifically-addressing rhetoric in aspiring territorialist leadership is that it further engenders — in both the practitioner and the general population such rhetoric is addressed to by the compounding perpetual power of desperation and cultural conditioning — the territorialist mentality that creates the population’s need. The Saturative mentality of the Blightgeist works within the framework set by Erosion to serve and acknowledge much-neglected needs so that the general structural and collective psychological framework of need is maintained, because meantime necessities are on the line. In this enterprise, need and angst are easily salved by specifically acknowledging the population affected and “hearing” them. That it may be so affected firstly by the conditions of a structure which are so susceptible to failure by the slightest prod from nature or the many growing, inter-intruding and warring factions of the Blightgeist that threaten one of its core mechanisms on which its subjects have grown to depend, is seldom acknowledged if even known — the collapse of a structure of The Blightegeist is the most obviously and immediately threatening to so much life, and the societally sanctioned options which most address this (for those outside of its carefully power-consolidated domain would threaten it and cull general immediate dependence of beings on it) maintain leverage among those partially but incompletley attuned to being-as-such. Saturation promises collective well-being and enlightenment by a vaguely envisioned and nominal good will and posture between and among beings within the same structure of the Blightgeist, so long as the peanuts’ worth of rewards for conditions are the more increased or maintained up to another time, power structure in place, etc, within the limited purview of the Blightgeist itself; and from there Saturation at least implicitly enshrines the framework by which those means are most immediately, obviously, or, according to the culture’s limited view, viably secured. Therefore, general truths and rhetoric by target subsets of beings can be reflected and repeated as a means of recognizing the (often desperately needing) causes to then reframe and gentrify them as being in the terms and framework of the Blightgeist and its many mechanisms — for the phantom of Erosion looms large over the population. With rewards now promised for deeds of service to and for said structures, the latter’s tentacles can be the more strengthened. Here an Other (as conceptualized by Erosion) can be flipped to be Erosion itself, so that general Blightgeistian conditions can be oversimplifyingly attributed to whatever is not Saturation. Beings would do well not to fall for this.
