14: Purple Heart

Welcome home! Sorry about the mess. Decks H through W are pretty much unsalvageable; they are totally mostly on fire, and otherwise filled with enemy troops. The deck you are standing in right now is still being defended by UESC troops. The fires have been mostly put out, and the atmosphere is still holding.

Do what you can to push the IFC completely off this deck so the UESC security troops can lock down more doors. Once you're done with that, head down into the engine room and flip the engine reactor switches back on. They switched off automatically when the hull was breached, but they still have more than sufficient containment to operate safely, and we need that power back! It looks that the IFC are stalling down there. Hopefully you can catch them with their pants down. Take out whatever you find wandering around down there, then come back to this deck. Also keep your eye for IFC's latest weapon design, I've been getting reports about these things; apparently they're pretty frightening.

The original flag and national trade symbol of Chorpux was two square thunderbolts juxtaposed to symbolize the strength and prosperity of the military economy of Chorpux. The flag was not originally meant to incite patriotism, but rather as a trade icon for other nations to recognize.

After Chorpux changed its new nation's name into the IFC (Intergalactic Federation of Commonwealth), they retained the double thunderbolt icon on their flag but added two stripes running down the left side of the flag to represent a new nation built in parallel with other private military companies. The inherited co-companies under the IFC received their own individual flags, each with the black double striped background, but with the addition of their old corporate or national logo icon on the flag, such as Triple-Tac's trident logo.
