I just returned from another science mission at Station Alpha. It's been [8 years?] since I gave the order to abandon the station. This is the fifteenth such mission we've made to make scientific readings. Our scientists think they might finally have found a way to entrap the W'krncacnter. They have constructed a large space station orbiting L'howon and are equipping it with an instrument to stop the W'krncacnter. They plan to trap it inside a star. We hope that the destruction that this chaos being has caused will be at an end. It has already destroyed 4 of our planets. This has to work.
On a personal level, I hope they can save L'howon. Some of our comrades who suffered genetic resequencing from our mishap on Station Alpha were deposited on L'howon in the hopes that they might live out their existences. These comrades are called the accursed ones [the Flick'ta?].

Station Alpha is the same mess we left it. The upper level still seems to be intact, although flooded. Wanda has had no luck breaking the encryption codes. She is, however, quite angry at our abandoning her there. She whines incessantly about being "bored", and vows her revenge on me personally for ordering her abandonment. She still threatens she will make the rest of our race slaves to prevent us from making any more mistakes. It would seem that time does not mellow [rampant?] AIs.
Once we have defeated the W'krncacnter, I hope Interplanetary Command will see the wisdom in destroying the station and ridding ourselves of the threat. However, they seem intent on holding onto the reactor and to Wanda for further study. Both are unique, it would seem.
