This in turn provides greater proof of the truth to outside observers who otherwise have yet to be convinced, especially if they witnessed the journey in the journeyer from the beginning or if the journeyer is able to lucidly describe the truth much as one would a location to which the other has not yet gone; thus, this is one aspect of the strategy of the mass teaching. ? Once proof of a truth has been furnished and elevated to the level of the immediate, the proof lies further in the fact that its apprehension as a regular sense improves the life and achievements of the journeyer. ? To more consciously know it is to possess it as a regular sense for which the journeyer no longer feels they need proof, much as we in many things take things as true as they appear in order to efficiently proceed; so one of a journeyer's goals is to build and advance the set of givens and "sensed" things according to which they operate, knowing that these are engineerable. ? Moreover, it makes what was previously dormant or subconscious into the conscious and known -- it reveals that, at the core, the journeyer already long knew it, and it on some deeper level directed many of their thoughts and actions. ? This is in part because learning further about the nature of knowing and advanced consciousness alerts the journeyer to the growing apparati of knowing within them. ? Nevertheless, different individuals may become attuned to the subject of the mass teaching at different stages of it in such a way that more deliberate and direct teaching can then be undertaken in order that they may achieve more advanced consciousness faster. ? This mass teaching concerns that of our highest collective concern, a conscious understanding of all that underpinning our current stage of evolution and consciousness, and to abdicate them would be to abdicate our consciousness, distinction, and nature itself. ? That is, the mass teaching must be done more indirectly, and must to a degree lead by example. ? Accordingly, pending the mass teaching, truths must be handed down in simplified and prosaic form in order that they do not alienate the yet-unlearned, and a strategy must be devised for not just the mass teaching, but a way to do it that neither imposes upon the mass nor requires their belief in the teachings or their willingness to agree to be taught long-term. ? The mass absence of this more advanced sensing, which can be mass taught, leaves us less capable of knowing through faculties like abstraction, and increasingly dependent on making connections through the experiences and memories of regular sensing. ? Moreover, the journeyer would go beyond that which can be sensed ordinarily and immediately, and cultivate these more advanced means over time to where they have to the journeyer the well-trained immediacy of the ordinary. ? In the course of this journey one may discover not only lesser ways of attaining to knowing which can be corrected or discarded, but also the presence and importance of apparati for knowing that were once unknown or ignored, which while not necessarily direct or obvious have an immediate influence on the mind. ? To increase one’s rate and level of knowing is in part to examine and outline the means and patterns by which one comes to know, and this can be a life’s work that serves as a springboard for various sub-endeavors.
