That is, it involves the awareness of that which is known as well as that which is beyond it, or of knowing of that which it does not know yet stands to reach to, which form of consciousness evolves the consciousness itself. ? If consciousness' purpose is its own ultimate realization, and consciousness' very existence -- let alone evolution and thus ultimately its own ultimate self-realization -- depends in part on its ability and willingness to rise above its own limitations, then by being active it is in a form of realization. ? Such a journey requires to a degree a compelling from beyond the self, without which the journeyer is bound to mere prosaic immediacy. ? Thus it can be speculated to a degree whether the ultimate is in some way found or touched upon in the neverending flux of its very pursuit. ?
