Welcome back. One hundred eighty-one hours have passed since your successful incursion into the Marathon. As you may have noticed, our location has changed: I have started a dynamic orbit around the ship, which will give us a better insertion point when you are teleported into the Marathon. Yes. You're going back. Due to limitations of the translation memory banks in the Kubrick, the Pfhor data has been only partially decoded: where this Pfhor group came from is still a mystery. However, the AyeMakSicur files were easily accessed: when capturing that ship, the Pfhor gained access to a highly confidential cargo destined for the Department of Bio-Engineering Research in the Alpha Thaesus Conglomerate.
This situation has activated the DefConOne Omega Protocol. And you know what this means, soldier: - A UESC AI must be inserted into the hostile area to ensure the ability to monitor enemy activity. - Any core data found in the insertion system must be processed. - All recovered data must be transmitted with Alpha12 encryption to the nearest UESC StarPost and to Sol 0.001.
As only the 'Bernhard' Class AI's are capable of projecting themselves into a foreign MainCore, my limitations leave me no choice but to rely on you once again. Your mission: to establish a physical transfer via a modified Uplink Chip which you must insert at a viable access point within the Marathon net. Until you find a suitable insertion location, we'll be out of contact, but once I gain direct access to the Pfhor data, I will be able to accommplish the second and third directives of the DefConOne Omega Protocol. All secondary information and a brief of your weapons status is available from Zerv.
Disclaimer: If you experience any doubts or questions about my decisions, I remind you that under DCO Omega I am your superior as outlined in UESC AI Regulation #856FG1270. Mission parameters defined, move out.

As soon as Egon has nanoencrypted and uploaded himself into the modified UpLink Chip in the Kubrick depot, place the chip in the first available access point of the Marathon Net. Kubrick Authority Transfer: Successful Ship Oversight Subroutines: Added Security Overrides: Added I have control.
Egon transferred 7 exabytes downloaded from your in-suit computer (collected aboard the Marathon) to the Kubrick datastore. I can now access this information. These are the preliminary off-the-record conclusions: - Using stolen technology from the AyeMakSicur, the Pfhor have somehow managed to "merge" human and alien DNA into an uncatalogued life-form. - The cargo also contained advanced military technology; we know they were carrying infrared detection radar and laser barriers, but there might be other items deployed on the Marathon. - Those strange-looking cocoons that you may have noticed are probably an inert parasitic plague that seems to have infected multiple areas of the Marathon. - You may have experienced some difficulty with the Pfhor language in the terminals. Your in-suit computer translation files seem to be corrupted. Although I have uploaded an emergency translation kit from the Kubrick memory banks, you should wait until Egon has gained full access to the Marathon Net to properly decode the Pfhor data.
Weapons Status: I regret to inform you that the patched Assault Rifle is not ready yet. I am still working on the secondary trigger but will send the AR to you as soon as possible along with some recovered ammo. You can find recovered ammunition for your .44 Magnum and the Fusion Pistol in the Kubrick Depot. My short-range sensors have detected high quantities of metallographic particles and volatile materials inside a Cellar in this sector of the Marathon. This could be a weapons storage room.
To reenter the Marathon: You can search for a manual entrance to the Marathon in this region, as you did before. The Kubrick teleporter is now on-line, but without Egon the proper failsafe and simulacrum tests won´t be finished for at least 3.3 hours. You may use it, but the re-entry coordinates of the teleporter may be unstable. It is your decision.
We are in trouble, sir. BIG trouble. Egon continues to inhabit the Marathon net. However, I have received direct orders: I am to teleport you into another sector of the MoonShip, and I am to do this immediately. Please, step into the teleporter.

INCOMING MESSAGE FROM ZERV I warned you that the teleporter hadn't been tested. I am trying to calculate the interspatial gravity deviation in the SubArea of this Quadrant. Hopefully this will improve overall accuracy of the teleporter coordinates. This sector of the Marathon net seems to be offline. Look for a control mechanism nearby to reintegrate it.
It's about time. I am not capable of completely overwriting the binary signature of the Marathon Database, but I will be able to communicate through it. I am bypassing the security codes of the Phfor computer net, after which I will be able to access their database. I have updated the translation code of your in-suit computer. Re-access the nearby terminals, and search for useful information. We must recover any and all useful data if we are to win this fight.
DefConOne Omega Protocol Directive 2: In Progress Your mission is to re-activate the Communications AMS Tower and bring the Main Long-Range Transmitter back online. I can use the MLRT to send the processed Pfhor data to the nearest UESC StarPost and to Sol 0.001 DefConOne Omega Protocol Directive 3: Standing By I am activating a platform that will lead you to the upper level where you can find access to the Comm Tower. Be careful, the Pfhor are well aware of your presence and have greatly reinforced their security measures. Move. Now. Time is a luxury you don't have.
I have been unable to fully access the Pfhor computer net. What I have found suggests we're in trouble. Your violent forays have caused the Pfhor to increase their baseline security measures. High-Density Laser Barriers and activated security switches now restrict access to vital zones. To override these restrictions, you must obtain Security ID cards. My research suggests these are carried by the red-suited Pfhor security personnel.
We have encountered some... problems. The peripheral approach to the ship's net core has been denied. The Pfhor have changed all the internal access protocols on the Marathon. Impressive. Very. The only avenue open to retrieve these protocols is to transfer them physically from a native Pfhor terminal. Explore the nearby sealed room. I am reading an immediate Pfhor binary imprint. As soon as you have transferred the data to your suit's processing unit, Zerv will send you a Teleportable Terminal to upload the information. I detect only a single Security Chief in this vicinity - you'll have to get the ID card you need from him. Take elevator BC#752 and search for another ID card to activate the AMS Tower itself. Enough talk. Move.
Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod. I found Stuart. Or what´s left of him. Or a part of him. His head. In an alien body. He is still alive: he sensed my presence from his chamber and looked at me and smiled and spoke ohmygod he spoke with a childish tone he said I´m hungry. He is a monster. I´m scared. Who´s there?
Guess what? things are getting worse. Those little devices you ran into are the Programmable Detection Mines (PDMs). It's a civil self-defense device, lifted from the AyeMakSicur and reprogrammed to react to human DNA. The PDMs seem to be taking care of abandoned zones and alerting surrounding guards. The Pfhor seem to be responding to their Hive instinct in this new habitat. I have detected high Pfhor activity in a large room nearby. But that´s not all. There are also radiation levels which correspond to the AyeMakSicur imprint. I can read several DNA codes, some of which seem to be human but "merged" with others that have been modified. Beyond recognition. Way beyond recognition. Be careful. I need you to complete your mission. Do not linger and do not, for your sanity's sake, ponder these 'beings'.

The teleporter at the top of the stairs leads to the AMS Tower area. You will need a security ID card to access it. The controls for elevator BC#752 are nearby - you should be able to find one in that area. I have found a circuit that disconnects the laser barriers. Move carefully - just the fact that so many precautions have been taken in this area suggests that something nearby is worth guarding.

Hunted. My name is Alice L.C., Second In Command of the AyeMakSicur Civilian Ship, and one of the several survivors that are hiding in the maintenance ducts of the Marathon. The Marathon... My daddy used to tell me ghost stories, stories that took place on board an abandoned ship, where the rules of reality had been twisted and the worst thing that you could do was ask: ‘Who´s there?’ to an empty hallway. My daddy loved to scare me. And here I am: the ghost ship that most UESC captains don´t dare to call out loud by name, has become my living nightmare. I´m a child again. I´m scared. Who´s there?
Today I woke up and found out that I was all alone. The group left me behind. I can´t help but feel sorry for them: men behave like animals, moving in herds... so easy to find. Or perhaps Stuart feels guilty and can´t bear the idea of being near me: I was the only one to question his decision to investigate the source of that message we intercepted; it took our main AI 8.3 seconds to read it, and that wasn´t due to its complexity, but because of how obsolete the code was. And it was only three simple words translatable in English: ‘peace... love... come’ We should have known better.
